Busy, Busy, Busy

It is February and I have not posted in awhile but I can assure you, I’ve been doing many things that I am excited to report on!

Yep! You read that right! I tried out a free month pass at the gym and I am loving it. I really did not think I would but it seems my take on it has changed drastically. I am not sure if it is because of the atmosphere at this gym or if my mind has simply changed since I was younger or maybe a bit of both.  It helps that I have made my own personal goals (to do a chin up!) and enjoy using many of the machines. My favorite work outs are the ones involving my legs since they are a lot of stronger than my arms. My arms do not like working out but I’ve been trying anyways! I can’t have muscular legs and flabby arms, can I?

I am pleased to say that I have managed (somehow) to paint 7 paintings in January. Sure, over half of them are smaller paintings but I am still very proud of myself.  It all started because a friend wanted to attend a Paint Nite. After that, she was hooked and hooked me in with her. For the last two Saturdays, I’ve been hosting paint days with my friends. Below are a few of my paintings. Most of the paintings were inspired by Pinterest Posts so I can’t take full responsibility for the creative aspect of them.

Pushing Daisies.
Process Photos.
Chunky Rock.
Saw-whet Owls <3
Under the Sea

So while I have not been making many blog posts (which I do want to start doing more of) I have still been writing a lot. I started an online written RPG with a friend of mine. We have over eight members joined and together, have been writing a story for fun. I’ve not worked on my novel ideas nor have I worked on my blog (obviously) but I am still happy to be writing no matter what the outlet is.

So, here it is! My brief update. Despite everything that is happening in the world right now, I am certainly pleased with what I have been pushing myself do to this last month! I hope this motivations stays up and I hope that I will be able to post more blogs for you!
